How much does junk removal cost in Northwest Indiana?

Accepted Answer

Pricing is based on how much space your items take up in the truck, not on an hourly clock. A single-item pickup such as a couch or refrigerator is our smallest job, and a quarter, half or full truckload is priced in tiers from there. You get the number before we load anything, so you approve the price first. Call 219-231-6737 with a rough description and we can usually quote you right on the phone.

Do I have to move everything to the curb myself?

Accepted Answer

No. Full-service means we come inside, carry it out and do the lifting ourselves — basement, second floor, back bedroom, attic or backyard shed. If the items happen to be curbside already that is fine too, and it sometimes brings the price down.

Question 3

How fast can you get to my house?

Accepted Answer

We often have same-day or next-day openings and can almost always get you on the schedule within the same week. Lake County cities such as Crown Point, Merrillville and Schererville tend to have the most flexibility, while Porter and LaPorte county jobs are usually booked a day or two out.

What items can you not take?

Accepted Answer

We cannot haul hazardous waste: wet paint, motor oil, gasoline, solvents, pesticides, asbestos, or medical and biohazard material. Propane tanks and car batteries also have to go to specific drop-off sites. Nearly everything else — furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, yard waste, remodel debris — is fair game. Send a photo if you are unsure and we will tell you straight.

What happens to my items after you haul them away?

Accepted Answer

Usable furniture, appliances and household goods go to local donation partners whenever they are in good enough condition. Metal, appliances and electronics get routed to recyclers. Only what genuinely has no other home goes to the transfer station, which keeps disposal costs — and your price — lower.

Is ClutterBros insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ClutterBros Junk Removal LLC is an insured Indiana limited liability company. We pad doorframes, protect floors and sweep the area before we leave, because the only difference you should notice is the empty space.

Question 7

Do you handle commercial and contractor work?

Accepted Answer

We do. Rental turnovers, office cleanouts, retail fixture removal and repeat construction debris pickups for remodelers are a regular part of our week. If you need scheduled recurring pickups on a jobsite, call and we will set up a standing route.
